Coaches
Dominoes Club relies on volunteers to fill our coaching and management roles. Without the valuable contribution of our volunteers, our new and developing players would not have the opportunity to participate in community sport.
We provide support and training resources to assist our coaches, and fund Netball Queensland learning pathways for Coaching. No previous coaching experience is required, and we encourage you to consider this valuable opportunity.
Umpires
Dominoes Netball Club is required to provide one umpire per netball team in each competition we participate in. Without umpires, we have no competition to compete in! Dominoes Netball Club are actively invested in the development of our umpires. Our umpiring coordinator works hard to ensure that aspiring umpires are provided with the mentoring, training and opportunities they need to progress towards badging. Umpires are paid for each game according to their qualification, including during mentoring. Dominoes Netball Club fund our umpires to complete their Foundation Umpire Course through Qld Netball. We are interested in hearing from all qualified and aspiring umpires! Please contact dominoes.netball@hotmail.com to register your interest!
General
Throughout the season we rely upon our parents, supports, friends and family to help with a variety of activities. This includes scoring and managing roles for each time every week. It also includes manning the canteen on our duty days (a great way to stay warm during a Toowoomba Winter day!), assisting on the barbeque and handing out the scoring tablets from the club house. There are many opportunities to contribute and we are grateful for your assistance - big or small!
